Elastic Wave Radar System "iTECS"

A structural health monitoring device suitable for measuring the thickness of concrete members and detecting internal defects.

"iTECS" is a diagnostic device for assessing the integrity of concrete structures, developed based on the principle of impact elastic waves. It consists of an impactor (steel ball with a diameter of 10 to 30 mm) or an impactor with a sensor, a receiving sensor, and a control PC. Measurements do not require any special preprocessing of the measurement surface; simply lightly strike the concrete surface with the impactor. The "Elastic Wave Radar System iTECS" is a non-destructive testing system for concrete structures that allows repeated testing at the same location without causing damage to the structure. By simply pressing the sensor lightly against the measurement surface and striking it, no special treatment is required for the concrete surface.
